This describes sample software for NOMAD that illustrates some of the
 features contained in the product offering. These are "not" complete
 tools, but prototypes that can be used as a base for further ideas
 and development.

 XCOPYPC - NOMLINK file transfer

 XCOPYPC (with its mainframe partner XCOPYMF) is a simple NOMAD
 cooperative application that uses the ACCESS NOMLINK feature to
 perform many of the functions offered by PCMASTER, but will work
 from within NOMAD and the NOMAD Session Manager (NSM).

 XCOPYPC requires PCNOMAD version 2.5 or later and XCOPYMF
 needs NOMAD 4.50 or later.

   PC - XCOPYPC
   MF - XCOPYMF, XCOPYMFE, XCOPYMFR, XCOPYMFS

 To install, transfer the MF procedures up to the mainframe.

 The communications board is hardcoded in XCOPYPC as IRMA. If you
 are using another board, change the FILE OPEN for FCOPY and NLFILE
 to reflect the proper board.

 To use,

   enter XCOPYPC from PC NOMAD

 It assumes that you are in MF NOMAD waiting for a command.

 VFLIST - VFILE file list utility

 Based on the new 5.00 feature QUERY('VFLIST'), this shows the files
 that exist in the new Virtual File facility. From the display
 window, a user can delete files, clear window space, and manage the
 VFILE environment.

 There is also the capability to copy files in and out of VFILE from
 disk.
