This directory contains sample window profiles and some simple tools for
use with NOMAD, version 5.00, on MVS and VM.

You can use the profiles and tools as-is, or as sample starting points
for your own work.  None, however, are guaranteed or supported.

Procedures  beginning  with  WP  are  primarily  profile type tools that
relate to window position/color/fkeys/etc.  Most of these are connected
to a window profile established by WPPROF.  WPPROF can be called from
a PROFILE NOMAD, or called interactively.

   WPPROF: establishes the environment and sets up window layout
   WPRELATE: joins tables using DEFINE EXTRACTs.
   WPKEYS: handles function keys in the command window
   WPMENU: provides a menu shell, with the Assistant and Tools as choices
   WPTOOLS: links to the WT tools below, and to QLIST and SCHEMGEN.
   WPFILE: transfers data between files and windows.

Procedures beginning with WT are primarily code generating tools.  They
require some of the setup done by WPPROF to run properly.  Included are:

   WTMMENU: a simple menu builder *
   WTUPDATE: a simple window update builder *
   WTPICK1 and WTPICK2: utilities to handle pick lists
   WTVIDEO: updates video attributes used by these tools
   WTHELP: provides HELP for the WTUPDATE procedures

We hope you will find these facilities useful.  Our experience at trials
has  shown  that  they  make  NOMAD  Windows  a  much  friendlier,  more
functional product feature.
