Subject:      NOMAD2 on XA

On Janauary 7 we went from VM/SP HPO to VM/XA SP.  One of our
Nomad2 users who had been allocating temporary disks using
  system cp define t3380 201 10 ;
  system format 201 c ;
discovered that the FORMAT command blows Nomad2 completely away.
Has anyone else encountered this and do you know of a fix?

We (The University of Texas at Austin Computation Center) are
running Nomad2 version 522A under VM/XA SP version 2.1.
