Tom Brenn - The Update

Have no idea where the time went, but 1981 seems more like centuries ago! Believe it or not after doing nothing with my life after high school, I joined the US Air Force in 1985 and have been serving ever since (just went past 16 years this past April). Best decision I made and allowed me to see life outside of Riverside and also around the world. Have been stationed overseas since 1991 having tours in Turkey (1 year), Germany (7 years) and now England where we’ll be till July 2003. I also had a tour in Korea from 1988-1989. I finally did tie the knot back in July 1992. I met my wife “Nilgün” in Turkey and married there in Istanbul. We have a 6-year old son named John. Still do think of the good ‘ol days back in HS from time to time and wonder what most are up to now. Have not touched the trumpet in 20 years! Couldn’t play, “Mary had a Little Lamb” if I tried. Not sure where we’ll be settling down in the States when we come back, but it will not most likely be So Cal. Most all of my family have moved out of So Cal, but I still do keep in touch with some of my HS buddies back in Riverside.
